Hi seniors! College application time is here, and there are some important deadlines coming up: - University of Florida: November 1st - Florida State: November 1st For those currently working on college essays, Ms. Ferrari is offering some college application tutoring and essay critiquing on the following dates: Saturday, October 7th @ 11am-1pm Saturday, October 14th @ 10am-12pm Saturday, October 21st @ 1pm-3pm Please let her know the Thursday prior to attending a session that you will be there, and bring a rough draft of your essay to the session.

Hi seniors, there are some important upcoming dates: - Wednesday, October 18th - Florida State University Campus Tour - Thursday, October 19th - Senior Parent night    - @ 6:30 pm at the Middle & High School campus    - This meeting will address important college and financial aid topics and include a presentation by the Student Council about the Senior events this year - Saturday, October 21st - RCSA High School Family Picnic

Just a reminder that Senior Hoodies will be on sale till Friday, October 6. Please give your money to Mr. Ferrari between your classes.

Duval County Schools are closed for the rest of the week and will reopen Monday, September 18th.

Just some quick updates: I looks like Irma will be a cat 2 when it gets here. Check out http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/#irma for more info. There is now mandatory evacuation for zones A and B. If you are there, get out while you can because there will be traffic. If you were scheduled to take the ACT tomorrow at a Duval County High School, that has been canceled. Check the ACT website for more info. No news about school Tuesday yet.

Good morning seniors, this is your secretary, Lina Leyhausen! We realize there has been some confusion surrounding weather days, and because there were no announcements this morning. I wanted to take a moment to update all of you. Pass the news to underclassmen as well if you get the chance. (click on read more to see the rest of this post) Today's morning announcements are: There will be no Volleyball game this week There is no school Monday Today is not an excused absence The official announcement for all Duval County schools is: There is an early release day today, Thursday September 7th There is no school Friday, September 8th There is no school Monday, September 11th.
