September 7th Announcements & Hurricane News

Good morning seniors, this is your secretary, Lina Leyhausen! We realize there has been some confusion surrounding weather days, and because there were no announcements this morning. I wanted to take a moment to update all of you. Pass the news to underclassmen as well if you get the chance.

Today's morning announcements are:
  • There will be no Volleyball game this week
  • There is no school Monday
  • Today is not an excused absence
The official announcement for all Duval County schools is:
  • There is an early release day today, Thursday September 7th
  • There is no school Friday, September 8th
  • There is no school Monday, September 11th.

    Yeah, hope everyone stays safe. If you get the orders to evac, don't take a chance. This storm is very, very powerful.

    If anyone is taking the ACT this weekend at a Duval County High School, it has been canceled. Check the ACT website for more details.
